SED DIAPHRAGMS The SED EPDM diaphragm consist of a specifically developed compound reinforced with vulcanized woven fabric inlay. This construction gives it higher stability at elevated temperatures and pressures, such as in critical aseptic apllications with SIP steam sterilizing cycles and processes.
MA 8, as the only diaphragm in the complete EPDM serie of SED, is connected with the valve operating mechanism by an elastomer button (button fixed).
The SED EPDM diaphragm is always manufactured in the molded open position.
